Folios 305-306: William Humphry Faulkner, HMS Blonde, Torquay, near Newton Abbot. He reports their safe arrival and gives credit to the boats of the fleet under the command of Captain Somerville, HMS Nemesis. He says that the damage to HMS Blonde is not as serious as was feared.
