Folios 212-213: William Ferris, London. He has not been paid for the period of 16 months while he commanded HMS Drake in the West Indies due to the lack of reports concerning the stores of the Boatswain and Carpenter. He says that the report of John Pinch, Boatswain, must have been mislaid, but a copy will be in the possession of the Commander in Chief. Jack Parker, Carpenter, deserted at St. Vincent, leaving nobody to check his stores. He asks for a dispensation and to be paid his wages.
