Description

Folios 209-210: {?], Navy Agent, Clements Inn. He writes on behalf of William Ferris asking that he is paid for the period he took command of HMS Blenheim during the sickness of Captain Graves.

Folio 211: enclosed with folios 209-210. Letter dated 15 December 1803 by Samuel Hood, Commodore and Commander in Chief, Barbados and the Leeward Islands. Order to William Ferris, HMS Drake, to take temporary command of HMS Blenheim during the absence of Captain Graves.
