Folios 644-645: George Fowke, Sible Headingham, Essex. Responding to Admiralty request to advise on two Frenchmen, Jean Rime and Pierre Michaud, Pilots, who served aboard HMS Rowley under his command in the year 1800 and to give his opinion of whether they are deserving of further support. He is pleased to say the conduct of both men was at all times good, but adds that Jean Rime was by far the superior pilot and he has a numerous family for whom he is the sole support.
