Folios 595-596: Robert Forbes, Liverpool. Assuring them he has made every effort to 'trace the privateers of this port' but cannot find any reason to suspect anyone in particular. He has also consulted the mayor and magistrates, who are very keen to discover, for their own interest, the vessel and master concerned, and if they succeed in discovering this information it will be communicated to their Lordships.
