Folios 576-577: Robert Forbes, Liverpool. Advising that he has not found it possible to follow their order to hire a boat suitable to board vessels entering the river, but that William Greyson, a builder, has a cutter of 25ft, which he is willing to sell, with oars, for 40 guineas. Asks if he is allowed to purchase her and if so whether he may also hire a crew and in what way they should be paid, or alternatively if he is to wait for a cutter from Plymouth. He hopes to send the Rosa tender, with 120 men for the fleet, on 16 July.
