Folios 238-239: Edward James Foote, No 5 Arundel Street, Strand. On re-perusing Lord Bridport's order, he sees that it limited the additional price to be paid for the savings on bread to the Ships employed in Great Britain and Ireland and consequently that he erred in granting an additional allowance to the Crew of HMS Seahorse for what they saved on their passage to the East Indies. He hopes on this occasion they show him some indulgence, eighty three pounds being so very considerable part of his pay as to be severely felt.
