Folios 205-206: Matthew Flinders, HMS Investigator, False Bay, Cape of Good Hope. Report that after a stay of four days at Madeira with HMS Investigator, he put to sea on 7 August 1801 and on the 15 August 1801 made St Antanio, the north westernmost of the Cape Verd [Verde] Islands. [Total one and a half sides, mentions:- Cape Palmas, crossing the equator on 8 September 1801, longitude of 17deg west, near the Island Sable or St Paul, Trinidad, Saxemburg Island. the investigations in the Southern Atlantic].
