Deposition by Corporal Thomas Percivall that Abraham Tovey was out of the garrison contrary to orders. The commanding officer sent for him, told him he was about to write to the earl of Godolphin, and ordered him to produce copies of the accounts of stores delivered to the Scillies. This he refused to obey, and for being out of the garrison is confined by the commanding officer. Countersigned by [Captain] Charles Jeffreyson
