Administrative / biographical background

The 'Tell Us How' programme was launched in October 2011 by the Minister for the Cabinet Office, Francis Maude, with the aim for civil servants to suggest ways to improve the civil service, and ideas about how performance could continually be reviewed and improved. In March 2012, the Civil Service Reform Challenge was launched, with civil servants being asked to submit ideas to shape and inform the recently published Civil Service Reform Plan.
