Company was transferred to and absorbed by London & South Western Railway Company at midnight on 31st December 1922 by virtue of London & South Western Railway (Southern Group) Preliminary Absorption Scheme 1922 dated 23rd December 1922. London & South Western Railway Company became part of Southern Railway Company as from 1st January 1923 under Railways (Southern Group) Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 22nd December 1922.
