J. Robins, Plymouth. In the late gale, the White Cann buoy on the Albermarle Rock in the Sound, broke adrift and drove into Boveysand Bay, where it was broken to pieces by the populace. Have received the chain, swivel, 8 iron hoops and some broken staves. As there is only one buoy in store, ask for another for use in an emergency.
