Description

Norfolk & Norwich. Contemporary copy of commission appointing Augustine Briggs Receiver of the Hearth Tax in Norfolk & Norwich from 25 March 1669. He is to make an account of the revenue owed for the half year ended Michaelmas 1669, also the half year ended Lady Day 1670, and the half year ended Michaelmas 1670. By letters patent 11 May 1670. Signed by Augustine Briggs.
