Murder of her son, aged 9 months, by Olive Kathleen Wise at Worcester Road, Walthamstow, on 24 December, 1930.
After passing of sentence of death a Jury of Matrons found a verdict that prisoner was pregnant. The Judge ordered a stay of execution until child was born and she was imprisoned with penal servitude for life and released on 4 July 1932
