Incorporated under act of 29th May 1830. By act of 27th July 1846 Company was dissolved and absolutely vested in Midland Railway Company. Midland Railway Company was amalgamated into London Midland and Scottish Railway Company under North Western, Midland and West Scottish Group Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 30th December 1922.
