Description

Entry book of invoices.

A large daybook containing disbursements and payments for the provisioning and preparation of ships chartered by the Royal African Company including payments to the East India Company, trading forts and Barbados. Ships recorded include Blackamore, Charles, James, Rupert, Speedwell, Marmaduke Amity, Elizabeth, Swallow and Amity. A highly detailed record of trading transactions recorded on a daily basis over a 3-year period.
