Hannah: invoices and accounts.
A bound ledger book of the ship the Hannah under the command of Captain Charles Danvers engaged in the 'Windward Trade' along the coast of West Africa on behalf of the Royal African Company. It contains invoice ledger accounts of trading goods laden aboard and the sales of goods in purchasing malaguetta (a spice), ivory, gold and 399 slaves. Accounts of ten musterings of slaves during the onward passage via Barbados to Jamaica are recorded with 359 slaves surviving the voyage. Signatures to the musterings indicate that John Lebbett took over as Captain mid-passage.
