The Arthur, journal by George Hingston, factor, describing the voyage of the ship Arthur under commander Robert Doegood, and the transactions for the Royal African Company, from Gravesend (Kent) to New Calabar River (Nigeria) to purchase African slaves and thence to Barbados where the enslaved people were sold.
