Incorporated under act of 28th June 1866. From 1879 until end of 1900, income was paid to a receiver appointed on behalf of Rent Charge holders. Line was worked in perpetuity by London & North Western Railway Company at 50% of gross receipts. Harborne Railway Company was vested in London Midland & Scottish Railway Company as from 1st July 1923 under London Midland & Scottish Railway Absorption (No 1) Scheme 1923 dated 14th July 1923.
