Housesmiths' and Bridgemen's Strike: reports that the possibility of a general strike is not high; reports expectation that demands will be made by the Rockmen and Excavators' Union for a new wages scale and recognition of the union; finally reports that a striking iron worker has been convicted of shooting at a special watchman on duty for Messrs Post and McCord.
