British emigration to Virginia: reports on scheme to encourage London poor to emigrate to Virginia as farm labourers, proposed by Mr G W Loiner, Commissioner of the Department of Agriculture of Virginia; encloses a copy of a letter from Vice-consul Brine to R Maynard, Secretary of the Central (unemployed) Body for London, and cuttings from The Times regarding the proposal.
