Folios 18-21. British Emigration to Virginia: requests information regarding a scheme reported in the Times and apparently supported by Vice-Consul Brine in Richmond, Virginia, to encourage the emigration of the London poor to labour on farms in Virginia; no report has been received in London and one is requested from the Consul in Baltimore.
