The Stratford upon Avon, Towcester and Midland Junction Act 1883 empowered the Stratford upon Avon, Towcester and Midland Junction Railway Company to work the East and West Junction Railway Company's lines through this committee formed of representatives of the two companies.
The committee took over operation on 13th April 1891 and continued in existence until the companies it represented, along with the Evesham, Redditch and Stratford upon Avon Junction Railway Company, were amalgamated by the Stratford upon Avon and Midland Junction Railway (Amalgamation) Act 1908 to form the Stratford upon Avon and Midland Junction Railway Company.
