Description

Prisoner name: John Preston.

Prisoner age: 18.

Court and date of trial: Old Bailey, October Sessions 1831.

Crime: Stealing from the person, a pocket handkerchief the property of [Thomas Beachcroft] of Queenhithe, London.

Initial sentence: Transportation for life.

Gaoler's report: In prison before.

Petitioner(s): John Preston, the convict, undersigned by Thomas Beachcroft, prosecutor, and six other inhabitants of London.
