The Cornwall Minerals and Great Western railway companies Joint Committee was authorised under Article 23 of Agreement between two companies dated 30th April 1877.

The committee ceased to function on amalgamation of Cornwall Minerals Railway Company with Great Western Railway Company as from 1st July 1896 by the Cornwall Minerals Railway Act 7th August 1896.
