Folio(s) 32-33B. A sworn statement from John Browne, Sheffield [Yorkshire], a Silverplate worker, stating that Jean Pozoli of Middleburgh, [Middelburg, Zeeland], on 4 April 1794 and before the start of the war between Great Britain and the United States of Holland, was indebted to John Love, Joseph Morton and this deponent as co partners in trade for goods sold and delivered to him. The money was still owed. Sworn before [Adamson Clarke], Master Extraordinary in Chancery.
Also a sworn statement in which Hardess Mantz and Company state that two hundred pounds, held by Messrs Strachan and Mackenzie and ordered to be paid to them by Jan Pozoly, was part of a debt due before the war. Signed by Adam Mantz London 10 June 1796 and sworn before Benjamin S Hammet, 11 June 1796.
