Folio(s) 27-29. Letter from C F Greville stating that the last time he saw the Duke he was told the letter had been sent to the office and he should expect an answer. Greville stresses his need for a reply.
Enclosed is another letter from C F Greville stating he had been informed the letters had been sent to the office. He thinks it is important to take notice of the resolution of 30 April 1796 but until he receives an answer it does not rest with him to protect a Privy Councillor from 'injurious imputations'.
