Description

Folio(s) 21-22. Anonymous letter to William Pitt, Downing Street, Westminster stating that they think it their duty to mention a Mr Attersole who is continually striving to warp the minds of his workmen. A list of names is enclosed.

Mr Attersole, Malster and Brickmaker Crabtree, Hammersmith [Middlesex].

Mr Rederick, Casemaker, Aldermanbury [London].

A Club of Democrats who meet at the Three Nuns, Whitechapel [Middlesex].

Mr Drull, Glazier at Greenwich [Kent].

Mr Galabin, late a Printer, Ingram Court, Fenchurch Street [London].

Mr Walker, Bookseller, corner of Shoe Lane, Holborn [Middlesex].

Mr Brand Hollis at the Hyde, Ingatestone [Essex].

Mr Smith in Parndon in Essex.

He states that Eaton the bookseller is selling another work of T Paine [Thomas Paine] full of sedition and blasphemy and a pamphlet in answer to Gilbert Wakefield.

Also mentions Dr Shadwell in Epping.
