The Buckfastleigh, Totnes and South Devon Railway Company was incorporated under the Buckfastleigh, Totnes and South Devon Railway Act 25th July 1864.
It was vested in the Great Western Railway Company as from 1st July 1897 by the Great Western Railway (Additional Powers) Act 6th August 1897.
