Richard [Mitford], bishop of Chichester, to Richard II: it was agreed in convocation that poor nuns and religious women of all orders were to be exempt from the tenth, but the abbot of Durford, collector of the tenth in the archdeaconry of Chichester, is demanding payment from the nuns of Easebourne; the bishop seeks a remedy. Dated at Amberley.
