William, lord of Badger, Shropshire, to Edward III: nominates Hugh Carles to the free chapel of Badger, which is in William's nomination and the king's presentation because the temporalities of the priory of Wenlock are in king's hands, by reason of the war with France; requests that Carles be presented to John Trillek, bishop of Hereford. Dated at Badger.
