Description

--- to ---: king has ordered us to call Roger le Brabazon and others, and to examine, without further pleading, right of John de Segrave to advowson of Fen Stanton. If he is found to have right, he is to be restored, and the king's presentation to be revoked, and the bishop of Lincoln is to be ordered to admit Segrave's presentee. On king's behalf, recipient is to explain matter to the treasurer and Brabazon, so that they be not too delayed in joining the king with horses and arms, as ordered. Dated at Gillingham.
