John Goubaud, sheriff of Lincolnshire, to Master William Greenfield, chancellor: received writ de vi laica amovenda, concerning church of Bardney; went there and met resistance, returned next day with posse. Now, in accordance with the statute, sends names of those who resisted; asks for writ to attach them to answer to king for their resistance. Dated at Lincoln. Seal.
