Description

Thomas of Weston, bailiff of Holderness, to the chancellor or his deputy: writ to ensure that Master William of Blyth, parson of Preston, received tithes of hay due from the king's men, his parishioners, was countermanded by supersedeas; seeks confirmation, for the king's bondmen, of agreement by council of archbishop, clergy and laity to pay 8d instead of 6d per bovate.
