Description

Isabella of France, queen, to Walter de Stapledon, bishop of Exeter: complaint that no money has been provided for her household, although he was instructed to do so by the king; he has also left without her licence, showing his preference for Hugh le Despenser rather than the king; she will not accept his excuses. Dated at Paris.
