Custodial history

These records, which relate to the unofficial business of court officers, are not officially records of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury or Doctors' Commons. It is likely that they have become confused at some point with official records, and were therefore transferred to the Court of Probate, and in 1874 to the Probate, Divorce and Admiralty Division of the High Court.
