These volumes contain entries of various orders made by the Prerogative Court of Canterbury after grants of administration or probate had been made. The vast majority are in cases where the value of an estate was found to vary considerably from the original estimate and the amount of "STAMP DUTY PAID" had to be altered accordingly. There are also instances of orders ratifying minor alterations in the wording of probate and administration acts.
