The Salmon Advisory Committee was set up by the Fisheries Division II (Aquaculture, Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries) to deal with the aspects of availability of information on status of salmon stocks, influences on the level of those stocks including predators and fishing at low water levels, the effectiveness of anti-poaching measures contained in the Salmon Bill and conservation of Salmon Fisheries.
