Nations and Regions East (NRE) was established in October 2005 as a representative group to coordinate and champion 2012 Games related strategic issues across the East of England with the aim of maximising the benefit to the region from the Games. NRE is funded by East of England Development Agency. Rising to the Challenge is part of the national group at London 2012.
