Description

This series consists of letters written to Francis Henry Dallas who was treasurer of the State of Sarawak from 1903 until his retirement in 1917. Most of the correspondence is from the second Rajah of Sarawak, Sir Charles Anthony Johnson Brooke, including letters to the Rajah which were forwarded to Dallas for his attention or from the Rajah's son Charles Vyner de Windt Brooke, the Rajah Muda.

There are few letters written by Dallas himself although his comments or replies are occasionally added at the end of a letter received.
