Description

This series of Public Record Office letter books contains entries of in- and out-letters, 1838 to 1843 and 1852 to 1902, entry books of correspondence with government departments; and a number of Search Room letter books containing entries of letters relating to searches in the public records.

Indexes to the letter books for the period 1838 to 1861 are in PRO 2/92-98.
