Description

From 1874 to 1880 Greenwich Hospital Special Pensions, given at the discretion of the Admiralty to warrant officers unable to contribute materially to their own support, and varying in amount and duration according to the degree of disability and other circumstances of the case, are entered in these volumes. These Special Pensions were within certain limits tenable in addition to Naval and age Pensions.
