Arrangement
Arrangement

The four volumes in this series commences with a regular alphabetical arrangement under the initial letter of the surname. The influx of new cases during the war appears to have caused this system to be abandoned and from 17 November 1917 the entries are made in chronological order of warrants authorising payment with a new series of establishment numbers.
