These consist of Deputy Paymasters' accounts, etc, in respect of:

  • Troops on the continent and in America, 1756 to 1861
  • Deputy Paymasters' ledgers for regiments, staff, garrisons, etc, on foreign stations, 1804 to 1824
  • Accounts of extraordinary expenses, 1753 to 1836; cash books, 1749 to 1798
  • Entry books and registers of powers of attorney, 1721 to 1841
  • Register of law cases, 1805 to 1819
  • 'Off Reckonings' ledger, 1759 to 1765
  • Treasury warrant book, 1838 to 1842
  • Ledger of Chelsea Hospital in-pensions, register of orders for payments, etc., 1836 to 1847
  • Ordnance (Ireland), Treasurer's letter and account books, etc, 1834 to 1839
  • Entry books of royal warrants for half pay, etc, 1720 to 1817
