The Trust and Foundation Schools Partnership (TFSP), a consortium made up of the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT), the Youth Sport Trust (YST) and the Foundation, Aided Schools and Academies National Association (FASNA), ceased to exist on 31 August 2010. The TFSP was contracted by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) to support schools that wished to take on trust or foundation school status, to form a network of these schools, and to raise awareness of new opportunities for schools.
