Description (What the record is about)
-
The series covers two separate but related programmes.
The first on sustainability focuses mainly on the Sustainable Cities programme run by CABE with eight English core cities. It includes work on development of the website resources as well as the direct support and partnership with the cities.
The inclusion strand covers projects to promote a greater breadth of understanding regarding inclusive design, CABE's internal work and influencing others. The Inclusive Environment Group (IEG) and its successor the Inclusion by Design group (IBD) meeting agendas and minutes are also included. This group advised government on equality issues in the built environment.
