Petition of Patrick Delany and senior fellow for dispensation to hold prebend of St John's, Dublin, to which he had been elected by dean and chapter of Christ Church, Dublin. Cites college statute (which gives £10 as upper limit) and precedents of earlier dispensations to fellows: Mr Barton (13 December 1690) for rectory of Baddisworth, Yorks.; Mr Coningsby (30 June 1699) for Tarah; Mr Coningsby (7 Mar 1704) and Mr Howard (20 May 1712) for Manouth [Maynooth] prebend. ff. 179-180
