Shrewsbury to Bolingbroke, noted as received 23 November 1713: communicated your letter of 10 March (received 15 November) to [Sir Constantine Phipps], lord chancellor, who replied that he had already sent an extract from Dublin charter to the English lord chancellor and would hasten judges' response to the English attorney-general's report. He did not doubt that when that was transmitted the ministry there would share his opinion. Most of the council who signed the representation think the same, and esteem it a point of honour not to recede. Dated at Dublin Castle. ff. 121-122
