Copy of indictment in the case of William Pike convicted at Portsmouth Quarter Sessions in January 1830 for unlawful and indecent practices against George Bartlett. There is also an account of the case with his comments by the recorder of Portsmouth, Mr Dampier. He doubts whether the conviction was proper and can be sustained. Annotated with Peel's decision.
