Description

This series comprises Ministry of Pensions and its successors case files of war disability pension awards where pensionable service was in the Far East during the Second World War.

Files contain medical records, accounts of how and where illnesses, injuries, disabilities and fatalities occurred and some individuals' personal accounts of incidents and events. Conduct sheets are included recording place of birth, age, names of parents and siblings, religion, physical attributes, marital and parental status.
